This course is for Vessel Operators working aboard Seattle City Light vessels in the Skagit organizational unit. A Vessel Operator is anyone (ROW, Hydro Operators and/or USCG Captains) who will be responsible for driving a boat in the course of their duties and assignments working for Seattle City Light.

Throughout this course you will become better acquainted with Seattle City Light’s vessel safety policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This course is comprised of seven modules organized by topic. Each module contains information and resources that you will study independently by reading the materials and taking quizzes to test and reinforce your knowledge of the content. In addition to successfully completing the quizzes on this platform, you will also train and demonstrate your skills and knowledge when you are on-the-job.
